About the Tour:
This activity starts at the Ponta Delgada marine.
The fishing location depends on the sea state, in this activity we use light equipment, and for bait we use shrimp, the activity is carried out in fishing spots very close to land and at depths up to 40 meters.
It is an easy activity, but very active, you usually feel a lot of fish taking the bait.
For more experienced fishermen if you prefer, we can use the jigging technique. For this fishing technique, it is essential to be well prepared physically.
The target species in this activity are groupers, sea bream, rockfish, pigfish, and others.
All fish that do not have the minimum size is returned to the sea.
In the “SCORPION” and when the sea allows, the crew will cook some fish caught, so that you have the pleasure of tasting the freshly caught fish.

Important Information:
This experience is suitable for all levels of experience. Do not worry if you have no experience, because our experienced and dedicated team will teach you everything;
This fishing excursion can be done every day, whole year round as long as the sea conditions are suitable;
The most common species in bottom fishing in the Azores are: as Common Seabream, White Seabream, Blacktail Comber and Grey Triggerfish as well as other pelagic fish such as Atlantic Bonito, Greater Amberjack, Almaco jack, Bluefish and Guelly jack.
The customer can choose to keep the catch;
The bottom fishing tour can be done for half a day (04:00h) or a full day (08:00h);
Maximum of 4 people for boat Rabão;
Maximum of 8 people for boat Scorpion.
